The government-funded project is seeking the opinions and experiences of UK cattle farmers for the control of infectious diseases in their cattle. Disease transmission models do not typically take farmer views and behaviours into account, however the data collected in the survey will help improve these models by accounting for farmers views and we hope that the results of the survey will be used to inform future disease control policies post-Brexit. I would be grateful if you would advertise the survey in your regular communication channels with farmers as a project that seeks to benefit them. Farmers who complete the survey can also enter a prize draw to win up to £100 in vouchers. The project is in collaboration with AHDB and the University of Warwick and the survey is open until the end of August.
